Good Morning My Little Archers,
So yesterday I was 28, today I am 29. I am a Sagittarius and am true to my sign. I am clumsy and tend to get myself into embarrasing situations, I am too blunt, and I have a twisted sense of humor. I also love to travel and explore the world. I hate being tied down, and I love my independence.
I actually do feel a year older today, especially after all the reflecting and writing I've done all year. I feel like I have a little more wisdom than last year.
I hope that 29 will be kind to me.

I'm Back :)
Hello My Little Pumpkin Pies,
So I am back home. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I was just thankful to have another Thanksgiving with my grandparents and family. I got to talk to my grandma a lot and listen to more stories of her life "back in the day". She showed us ladies some of her treasures. She wore a beautiful, yellow expensive suit she won in Vegas over 40 years ago just after marrying my grandpa. She was gambling and kept winning and winning. My grandpa told her to stop and enjoy the cash, so she bought the suit. She wore it to Thanksgiving dinner and looked beautiful.
She also showed us her 50 year old Parisian handbag. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures. It was a black sequined handbag with gold lining. It was handmade in Paris in the 1950s with the address on the tag. They don't make them like they used to anymore. They were her prizes and she still has them. I love my grandma and the stories she tells. She was around during the Prohibition, and those stories are priceless. She also told stories about her dad coming home from the market crash of 1929, as he was a financial analyst.
I also got to stay with my dad. My dad has been wonderful. He moved out from Oregon and quit his job to take care of my grandparents. Since he has a new place, I got to stay with him. My dad put his life on hold to run the family business and take care of my grandma and grandpa so they could enjoy the last years of their lives without getting stressed out. Anytime they need anything, he is there for them. My grandma is very greatful and always tells me how he is doing a wonderful job. It means the world to me that he did that, and the family notices too. It speaks volumes of his character. My dad may have a filthy mind and may love to get annoyed reactions out of me, but he does have integrity.
My aunt brought up a lot of family documents from my great-grandparents. My great grandparents on my paternal grandpa's side were Russian-Jewish immigrants. I finally got my hands on some pictures, family letters and poetry that my great-grandma wrote. Some of it is in Yiddish, and I wonder if people still speak Yiddish nowadays.
It was nice to spend time with my family, and I got to see a lot of my cousins I haven't seen in years. One of them got married so I finally got to meet his new wife. I remember when my brother and I were the babies of the family, and we held that title for a long time until my cousins started having children of their own.
I didn't take any pictures, I really should have. My grandparents live by the coast, and I went to the beach, a state park called Jug Handle ( I don't know who comes up with these names). I was all by myself for a few minutes, the sand was smoothed over from the rain the night before. There was a couple holding hands in front of the ocean, and then they left a couple of minutes after I got there. The waves were so high, but the waves near the shore weren't. There was a little stream leading into the ocean under the huge bridge, and it felt like I was walking in a dream. I've never enjoyed nature the way I did yesterday and I was all by myself, and I got to think and look at the waves. I took a picture on my camera phone. Not the best quality, but it is still a reminder. In a way, I was glad that I didn't have a camera, as I was forced to enjoy what was in front of me, knowing I didn't get a recording of it. The area was small, peaceful, and secluded. It was cold as hell, but really pretty.
So that is all for now. My birthday is coming up on Monday, so I got some presents and my grandma sent me home with an extra cake.
I was just happy to spend time with loved ones again and we all had a grand time. I know that we are in a recession and times are tough, but for the past couple of days, I forgot all about that.
So that is all for now. My favorite holiday has passed for this year, and Christmas will be here before I know it.

Happy Thanksgiving :)
Hello There My Little Marshmallows,
So today is Hump Day and tomorrow is Thursday. But since this is Thanksgiving week, I'm very busy and am going to visit family, I will save the Hump Day Hotness and the Thursday Thrust for next week. You could say that next week I will be back with a big bang ;)
I am planning on visiting family in Mendocino, CA by the coast. I am thankful for another Thanksgiving with my grandparents and my dad. I also miss my brother and we'll be riding up together.
My grandparents are the best, and my grandmother has been a huge influence in my life. I love her very much and cherish every holiday season that I get to spend with her. As cheesy as it may sound, this year I am grateful to be alive and spending it with loved ones.
Anyway, have a happy Thanksgiving, and be thankful for the blessings you do have.

Hows about a little side of sexual harrassment for ya ?
Hello My Little Kittens,
So today I had sexual harrassment training at work today. I had to read a packet and take a little quiz. Better than those awful VHS videos they make you watch before you get hired. The ones with the bad hair, and the bad innuendos. It's not like the actors in those outdated videos can actually grope or say "nice ass."
Anyway, my company wants us all to know that sexual harrassment can happen to anyone ! Unwanted groping or fondling can even happen to you ! And men beware, you are next. The guy in the cube or the girl in accounting could both come onto you. You never know. The guy may check our your junk in the mens room and the girl could be checking out what you're packing and invite you for drinks in her office.
The examples and pictures in the booklet were priceless. In one picture, an old woman with short curly hair and thick glasses was calling to complain to the EEOC. I was like, WTF ????? Talk about being politically correct. Let grandma know that even she isn't safe, lol. Why don't they just show a picture of an older married man in management, feeling up the young, perky secretary with his wedding ring in plain sight ? Or is that a little to close to reality ?
My favorite example was when a group of all men were talking about booze, women and sex. One of the men in the group felt uncomfortable by all that talk and the book asked us what he should do ? The correct answer was that he should immediately report it to his supervisor, who should then talk to HR. Really ? It's a group of men. Let them talk about their weekend escapades in private if no chicks are within earshot. Who cares. Now we have to hold the hands of grown men ??? A grown man can get his feelings hurt by another guy talking about sex ? Whatever happened to walking away or telling the guy to shut up ?
The paragraph that made me laugh the most, was that you could press charges against a supervisor, if he was harrassing you, and when you come to work the next day, he has to treat you like you never filed the report. In what world does that happen ? Talk about awkward. It's one of those things where it sounds good in theory but should get filed under "keep dreaming, it's never gonna fucking happen."
I am the only girl in my post now. Thank God my coworkers are cool. I offend (not physically) on a daily basis. I can talk like a sailor, and they don't get offended. Even though my former Marine boss tries to act like he's offended.
Anyway, time for me to go for now my cute little hairballs. Here is a little something for you. The first minute of this film is very similar to the VHS I was forced to watch when I signed up at a recruitment agency two years ago. But after that you can totally tell it's a spoof.
Remember, treat others with the respect and kindness that you would want from others. It's the law !
Besitos !

Makes Me Mad Monday
Hello My Little Peacocks and Peahens,
How are you my little feathery friends ?
I enjoyed my Sunday. I met up with my friends, a couple from Russia and Bulgaria. I ate a nice sized Belgian waffle with banannas, nuts (Sergio, I don't want to hear it) and whipped cream. I also decided to use a little butter and syrup. Yummy ! So delish.
Two hours after I thought it settled in my stomach, I tried to work out. Hahahahaha. I was find doing the leg press and climbing the stair master. Jogging on the treadmill was another story. I got a cramp so fast, and I decided to walk it out. But walking was way too boring, so I just said screw it and went home. I was on the treadmill for less than ten minutes. Next time I will eat AFTER the workout, which is what I normally do.
So it was a relaxing Sunday, and I topped it off by coming home and watching Law and Order and Goodfellas. That movie totally glorifies the mafia. I wish our thugs at least dressed in suits and tipped well, even though they got it by ripping someone off. Nowadays our thugs spray graffiti over our highway signs, pimp their rides with rims, and their fashion sense sucks.
Today is Monday, and what really makes me mad is dealing with insurance companies. Good Lord, I don't even want to talk about that. Totally ticks me off.
So that is all for now my colored feather bunches. Don't get your feathers ruffled today.
Besitos mis amores !
