Hello Loves,
I've been meaning to write a post about what's been going on in my life. That's why I started this blog. To blog about my days so I can reflect on them down the road. Sometimes I like to look back exactly a year ago to see what I was doing and how I was feeling.
December 29th will be my blogging anniversary. Six years in blogging land. Things my blog has covered:
1.) Graduation from the university
2.) My whole year trip abroad in Barcelona
3.) The deaths of my grandma and grandpa (different sides)
4.) Other travels
5.) My graduation this year
6.) Moving
7.) Job searches
8.) Hopes and dreams for the years ahead
I remember my friends convincing me to write a blog. Now I am the only one of them still blogging. I've always blogged for me. For the first four years I wrote without getting a comment most days. It's nice to finally have regular readers and people that stop by to give support.
Lately I've been busy with work, volunteering and trying to keep a workout schedule.
I also have TMJ, and keeping that under control is time consuming. The only way to really treat it is to exercise 4x a week, take supplements, and three types of medications. Since I am new to all of this, I have fallen off the wagon a couple of times. I am supposed to see her next week, but I am going to push that back.
Have any of you ever used Voltaren Gel ?
Anyway, I have a lot more to write about, but I need to go and think about working out.

You have to go see who ..?
I didn't have too many folks commenting or reading me when I began. What spurred me to start a blog was the hope that I would find someone to talk to, you know?
Glad to have met you. Good luck with that TMJ ... must have your moments with that.
Pieces!
Happy anniversary and glad to have you around to read.
I will keep reading your blog forever and hear you over the phone call me names and make fun of me and my junk.
I sure have heard and used some gel for... stuff, but not sure what kind of gel you are talking about, dear.
WOW! Six years. That is pretty amazing....And a great way to keep a diary for yourself. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, my dear...!
And that TMJ must be a difficylt thing to deal with. Take good care!
Happy *almost* blogoversary!
6 years is a loooong time. Good for you! And thanks for finding me and leading me here.
I've been blogging since Jan 2006 and I didn't get any comments for a while either...and then one day I looked down at the end of the post and saw a "1" under comments. It was Pat from Michigan...and she still reads my blog today, which is cool.
Sorry to hear about the TMJ. I don't know much about it but I wish you luck!
Wow! that is a long time to be blogging that is very inspiring that you keep going!
I have never tried the gel that you are talking about.
Opinion not truth - conider this - Let the MD's know your supplements that you are taking when you take prescriptions.
I hope everything continues to go well and thank you for the gift of your blog.
Congrats on these past 6 years and bright hope for the next sixty. My blogtown experiences started with AOL Journals about 4 yrs ago and I don't regret a moment, even when my views were mocked and scrutinized with a biased eye. This "blogging" thing, by any name, is us humans trying to put something down as a legacy I think - leaving our mark - something that screams "I was here once and this is what I felt!" Loved the way you put it.
Thanks Tom,
I am taking supplements recommended to me by my doctor. This is a condition I am stuck with that won't go away. I am just managing it for now.
Well I am glad that you are still blogging :) I went over a year without comments :) So yea, its good to get feedback now...
I just discovered your blog but am really enjoying your style! Keep it up. I know how it is - I blogged for quite some time before anyone showed up to read it and I'm always grateful for every commenter.
I am very glad you are blogging. Much better than watching a reality TV show. You are very down to earth and have a great sense of humor. Love that about you.
Throw in a manslation once it a while again ....
Love ya!

Happy Bloggy anniversary S! Being an ancient, elderly old man, Yes I've had some experience with this Voltaren Gel you speak of. Some observations:
1.) They gave me a '6 mo supply' which was seemingly enough to treat a small army. So evidently this really expensive 'stuff' can be produced by the metric ton, easily.
2.) Still I've got little to recommend it over the typical 'tiger balm' stuff you can get over the counter for oh, say 10 times cheaper by volume/weight.
3.) It's not absorbed easily, so it tends to stick around for quite awhile. This may not present much of an issue with TMJ (perhaps), but on body parts that are typically in regular contact with clothes? Yes much!
4.) When I got my 2 gals of supply I asked if there was any alternative use for the stuff. Basting turkeys, oiling axles, doors, bikes, what have you? Alas no. It's just not all that useful. Until they find some secondary uses for it. Which is how I think it got marketed for pain relief to begin with, BTW!
Hope you're feeling a bit better soon. Cheers & Good Luck! 'VJ'
