The Sexy Six

Hello Kittens !

Today marks my 6th anniversay here in blogland ! I first started just after I turned 23 and now I just turned 29. So much has happened in my life and I've accomplished things, but my biggest hopes and dreams have yet to come true. I have yet to actually fall in love (I have never been in love) or find a job in my field.

Anyway, because it's my 6th year up here, I will tell you six sexy things about me. Well, not really. But I will talk about my preferences about the opposite gender or whatever I feel like telling you.

1.) My favorite features on a man are broad shoulders and nice pectoral muscles.

2.) My top two compliments from men have been on my eyes and my smile.

3.) I have never run into anyone I've dated in the past. You know, like bump into while you're out shopping or on a date with someone else. That's my dating karma, and I say it's quite good !

4.) I believe that men should be the hunters and ask women out. I may support equal pay, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to be treated like a lady.

5.) I still believe in the institution of marraige and I don't think it's just a piece of paper. Any man that tells me otherwise is not for me.

6.) I think it's sexy when a man is in touch with his heritage and invites me to be a part of it. I know my roots, I speak the language, and I like it when men know where they come from.

7.) BONUS: I blog about ripped hunks all the time for Hump Day Hotness, but the truth is that I have way more chemistry with intelligent men. Men that are a little on the nerdy side. I suck at math, so I like men that are good at math.

8.) ONE MORE: I don't believe men should groom themselves as much as women. I prefer them to be rough and more rugged. No metrosexual bullcrap. And no smelling like an Abercrombie and Fitch store.

That is all for now, and no offense to you if you do wear Abercrombie and Fitch !

That last one was funny as hell.

My brother is the rugged body builder type but I swear he is a metrosexual when he uses the rest room. He takes like an hour to brush his crew cut! Wtf?

Six years a blogger, that is impressive, I'm only coming up to the 4 month mark, but it seems like it has been going on for years, I love it though.

Men grooming too much, ok as long as they keep that pubic hair under control, don't gross me out, haha.

Happy Blogoversary!

I like my man to groom himself but still be a man. No pretty boys for me!

Six year, that beats me even though this new blog is only 2 months old. Any man that has all those muscles usually works at it as much as a woman works at keeping herself up.

Somewhere in between for both is nice.

Congrats on the anniversary, dear. Sadly i only fit the last two of your requirements probably.

I love math by the way and I love your eyes!

and your tatas!

first let me start by saying I didn't shave today.

I have officially closed the blog. I have not deleted it yet because I need some of the posts for my book. I want to keep the comments.

I wanted to thank you so much for having visited my blog. I have always respected your point of view even when it differed from my own.

Have a great New Year. Maybe one day our paths shall cross.

You seem clear on what you are looking for which helps. It is interesting I read an article about what women look for in a man physically and shoulders and chest were at the top of the list when women were shown pictures of men.
The key measure was waist versus chest and the bigger the difference the higher the attraction followed by shoulders vs. waist.

Sounds like a guy with a math or statistics mba, that loves to bench press and has a minor in a foreign language that is into women that like to dance?

Normally I would say do not try and change a guy but I do have this view from experience:
My opinion I would not worry too much about the smell thing - I think VERY few guys are going to take a strong stance in this area for change. I have been with a woman that asked me to wear no cologne at all and just wear deoderate that SHE picked... I thought it was funny but it was not an issue. This might be the same for a number of guys... the cologne I wore when we met was one that another woman had picked out for me.
---

I always find it interesting reading lists of what a person is looking for... Congrats on 6 years.

Best regards,
Tom Bailey

Tom,

You bring up interesting points.

A couple of things I should mention:

1.) I won't change a man. I prefer a man with a mind of his own who is happy with himself. I like it when they take a couple of my suggestions, but I pick men based on liking what I see. Not for fix-up potential which I think is a waste. That's like counting the eggs before they hatch.

2.) Your combination of what I would look for is a little off.

- I prefer men who have a nice upperbody naturally, not by lifting weights. Perhaps naturally broad shoulders and keeps himself in decent shape. I don't like the bulky physique. I just want the guy to be bigger than me. I am a petite girl so that isn't so hard.

2.) The guy doesn't have to minor in foreign languages. I just want him to be in touch with his roots and speak the language his parents or grandparents speak. And if he doesn't know it, to take an interest in my background.

3.) Although I find a man who is a math or science whiz to be sexy. The truth is that most men who I've dated that have pursued me have been owned their own successful business or at least had a business plan
for what they wanted to do. Which was attractive to me because they knew what they wanted and went after it.
