What Does This Look Like To You ?!?!?!

Hello Loves,

Okay, so down to business. I need a you all to weigh in and tell me that I am not losing my effing mind. The picture below is the view directly from my apartment. If you walk into my living room, this is what you are staring at. This is how it looks during the day.

Below is what it looks like at night. When it's night time, the middle window below is the only one that lights up. No one else's window is lit. Not even with curtains. The whole front of the building is completely dark except for the window below. I think it's a hallway or a completely vacant apartment. But I think it's a hallway. But it looks like an old widow standing in front of the door about to open it.

A little closer........... At first this freaked me the fuck out. I was just sitting on the couch watching the traffic, and then when the streetlights went out, I saw that. The figure just stood there and wouldn't move. I've been here at my place for a few months, and I just noticed this. Of course, I stood there and waited for her to move or to turn around and drop the hood and show me her skeleton face, but no such thing happened.......YET. I stood there frozen for about 15 minutes focusing my eyes on one of the squares and the whole time she didn't budge an inch.

So I have come to the conclusion that this is an object and not a person nor a ghost. But what could this possibly be this shape in the dark ?

Please someone tell me.

Thank you !

Love,

Senorita

I have no idea, except it might just be a dressing stand, like a mannequin or something.
Very mysterious.

Looks like something covered with a bag.. or blanket. I thought initially that it may be a vacuum, but it looks too tall. I then thought a coat rack, full size mirror, or lamp.

I'm not a perv or anything, nor am I encouraging questionable activity that may be in the gray area of the law.. but do you have a set of binoculars.. Night vision goggles.. or a telescope? LOL!

YIKES.. what would you do if you were looking through some binoculars and saw the thing move?!? Geez.. I just got chills thinking about it!

Could be a bed post from a sleigh type bed frame.

Wow!
This is creepy.

what ups the creepy factor for me is I had just finished chatting with a friend and opened your blog page, expecting to see a pretty girl...that's you :)

I looked over your post and photos. I was about to make a comment, but decided my the room was too dark to have a clear view of my keypad. When I got up to flick on the light, I stubbed my toe on the dog causing her to jump and step right on top of my foot - hard (remind me to trim her nails soon!)
As I turned on the light -POOF- it blew with a quick flash.
Then the dog was all excited and I realized she had been in all day, so I took her for a walk...There is a really old gothic looking cemetery near my house, and , of course she wanted to run through there...But, I'm thinking "No way dog" It's just too creepy at dusk. And not at all appropriate for a dog to be running around with dead guys strewn about, right?
As we were coming back in, I suddenly realized that I had not eaten all day. Well, except for my co-workers PeanutButter Easter egg, early in the morning.
I went to the fridge, opened the milk jug and started to take a big gulp from it only to discover, maybe a little late, that it had started to turn. Luckily, MtDew doesn't spoil, I washed my mouth and just made a sandwich (PB&J on honey wheat is much better with FRESH milk than it is with Dew! and toothpaste...blech)
Looking in my cupboard, I noticed that I had no new bulbs to replace the blown one. I stold one from that big old chandelier in the living room (it has eight bulbs) climbed the ladder in a totally dark room and replaced the bulb. Finally! I can comment on this thing.

It's creepy.

I'd like to say it's me, in town looking for you. BUT, no, it's not.
And, I hope I'd have enough fortitude to stop in and say "Hi". I'd at least wave or something.

Do you need a brave fella to check it out for you?

By all means, draw your curtains! If it is someone, or SOMETHING, and you can see it, it can possibly see you.

Creepy. I'd have to go over and investigate during the day.

Have you seen the movie; "The Ring"? Watch the movie and then go stare out the window afterwards.

How very odd. Why don't you try getting a photo of it in daylight? If it's a piece of furniture or whatever it should still be there in daytime (one would assume... :D).
Fingers crossed it's not a ghost!!

Ooh, this reminds me of that old 70s movie, The Sentinel...the old woman that looked out the window guarding the house. Eerie, isn't it??

I think it might be an easel with a rag or towel on top...but that's just my guess. FIND OUT...QUICK!! :)

If I saw that it would make me shrink in the pants. See if you notice it a few other nights. Too bad I didn't notice it when I was there, it would have flashed me, im sure.

Thank you all for your comments. Please keep 'em coming if you have any more ideas.

I can't go in and find out because, I believe they are owned and not rented out. Plus, I've never seen anyone go in or out there. It is locked and I wouldn't even know where to begin and I don't know who to contact. If I did, I would look absolutely nuts asking that question.

I think that the houses people live in are behind this one.

I can't see anythind during the day because of the reflection.

Oh well, I'm just gonna have to pretend it's not there.

It looks like a coat rack with a coat or hat over the top to me, which would make sense since it's right by the door!

But yeah, it looks creepy!

That is creepy...but I don't know. However, from a distance out the window of my work, the coat rack looks like a person in a coat.

Oh, that's real simple. It's a stack of worthless lottery tickets. Or else it's a shadow of something outside, just like that leaning pole-looking thing. I'll call your local TV channels and ask them to investigate. Put it on the news and...

I can't guess, but if it's vacant can't you sneak over and take a peek? Now I really want to know.

Ooh, very Hitchcock's Rear View Window! Creepy! I totally agree with Darrin (which is the means of me dropping by your fantastic blog!)get yourself a pair of binoculars, sit yourself on a comfy chair, and watch but don't get caught like Jimmy did in the movie LOL. Good luck doll!
