Posting Whore

Hello Again,

I looked at my posts for this month, and I must say that I've been quite expressive.

Today I looked out at the hot tub and there was some guy chilling in there all by himself. If only he knew what transpired in there a couple of days earlier.....................

I went for a run today to test out my new sneakers. If I didn't mention it earlier, I bought a pair of running sneakers. Nike to be exact. I have never bought a pair of Nikes before, but these shoes really help. Usually when I wear my old sneakers that I bought at Payless, my knees are plagued by throbbing pain after running on the concrete. Not with the Nikes. I am real happy about that.

When I bought them the store owner helped me pick them out. He put me on a treadmill and filmed me running with the shoes he picked out for me.

What else........ I've been stressed lately with school. Up until now I have really liked my teachers. This quarter is different. My last teachers made me work my ass off, but they made learning legal concepts easy. They didn't make it complicated. They had easy ways of explaining concepts that are really quite simple but easy to complicate.

This quarter my teachers are making it complicated. On top of it they don't stay on topic in the lectures. It is very frustrating.

Anyway, I am gonna go and do a little more reading for my classes.

Shoes make all the difference in the world, not just for working out, but day to day walking too. Think about all the wear and tear your poor feet endure all day, taking you around everywhere you need to go!

Myra is sooo right about the shoes ... but if you are a light runner (165lbs and lower), I would try an Asics shoe.

Reeboks used to be a very good woman's shoe, so I would investigate them as well, were I a female.

Running every other day on pavement, 2-3 miles gives you about a 4 month window ... I know, changing shoes that often isn't in most budgets, BUT for short runs, you can use an old pair of shoes, and work them in, or even a cheaper pair, just for the light work and hanging out.

Save running shoes for running! Not exercising, not going to class, not just to hang about in.

It sometimes is too hot in the hot tub!! That is something to think about, right there!

Fraulien Senroita, you are quite the expressive young lady! I have been glad to read your post!!

Ooh ... try to find a PARK with grass ... that will save wear and tear on your knees and your shoes. Will take a second for your legs to adjust, but it will be better for you (he advises after a lifetime of running on pavement!)
